Review: Maxicimam Chocolate Coty-chan Sweets Wonderland JSK
MAXICIMAM is one of my favorite Japanese brands. As a plus size Lolita, one of the reasons why I love this brand is due to the fact that they offer a clothing line for larger lolita clothes. I have purchased a few of their products in the past, and I was very impressed with the item quality.
When Maxicimam announced that the new jumperskirt print release that would feature their cute bear Coty-chan and to the lovely size line, I just had to purchase the new dress release! I even made a video in order to showcase this item. The video allows you to see additional aspects of the dress.

To buy from Maxicimam for international orders, you have to use a shopping service or a third-party website. You can use cdJapan or Rakuten. For this order, I used cdJapan. The Chocolate Coty-chan Sweets Wonderland dress was released on February 7th, 2017. I purchased the dress on February 9th, 2017. The dress was offered in many colorways, but I adored the sax blue colorway the most.
Measurements
Length: 92 cm
Bust: 110-130 cm
Waist: 96-120 cm
With these measurements, Maxicimam truly is a fantastic option for a plus size Lolita! I am extremely happy with this recent purchase. Not only is the dress a great design, but it is an extremely comfortable fit. The shirring in the shoulder straps and back allow for a wide range of sizes. There is also some flexibility with the detachable waist ties to allow for more sizes. It is short in the bodice.

Shipping
5 / 5
I am a bit uncertain why my item took so long to arrive. The item was back ordered, I had to wait additional days until it was shipped. Thankfully, when my item did ship, it arrived within two days!
Communication

cdJapan's communication was excellent! I knew the moment my order was confirmed and the moment my items were shipped. cdJapan made it easy to track my order from Japan to my doorstep.
Product Quality

I love this dress. Most of the materials used to create the dress are of excellent quality, and the aspects of the dress have been assembled in an expert manner. The only complaints I have involve the overall feel of the satin and the side zipper. The zipper is the type that is too small to work properly, so I am forced to put the dress on over my head rather than to struggle with it. The satin, while sturdy, is not as soft as I would like. Also, as you can see in the photos, there are woven lines in the fabric. It's isn't noticeable when worn. A light chiffon fabric might have been a better choice.
You will see this dress in future lolita coordinate shots, to be sure!
