Review: Angelic Pretty USA Lolita Essentials (Winter Sale)

When Angelic Pretty announced that they were having a winter sale, I could scarcely contain my excitement! This time of the year is the best for me to order lolita items, since it is almost tax return season. Although the items I chose were not on sale, I am so happy that I purchased what I did!

My order was due to arrive on February 13th. But due to over a foot of snow, mail was delayed. Thankfully, my order was delivered on February 15th!
This is the second time that I have purchased directly from the Angelic Pretty USA store. This was the first time that I have received in anything besides a standard USPS flat rate box. Thankfully, the large package was sent with USPS Priority for a speedy delivery despite its overwhelming size.
Inside the box, I found my invoice and my specifically requested brand shopping bag! The note was very sweet and had the most adorable bunny drawing! The AP brand name shopping bag had been carefully rolled to ensure a safe trip. I know just what I am going to do with the bag, too!
My items had been carefully put in a plastic bag. I was grateful. We have had such terrible winter weather that I would have been mortified to see that my items had succumbed to the elements.
Lady Heart Quilting Bag
My Lady Heart Quilting Bag in pink was the first item I came across. This bag is simply stunning. I have always wanted a heart bag as part of my lolita wardrobe. The quilted texture, heart-shape, pretty bow, and glass pearl beads made this bag an automatic cart addition. The handles are secured by heart-shaped stitches. The back of the purse features a generous, and well hidden, back pocket.
My bag was purchased directly from Angelic Pretty, so it still had all of the price tags. I was very impressed that the bag had been shipped with tissue paper to maintain a lovely heart shape. The two handles of the purse were secured with a white joined cloth to ensure the handles remained in place. I was curious to see if a lolita brand bag would be of a higher quality than my indie lolita purses.
At once glance it was evident to see that this Angelic Pretty bag, much like any of my other Angelic Pretty pieces, was of a fantastic quality. The stitching was even, precise and well stitched. The synthetic leather is soft to the touch. I have never experienced a bag material of such quality before! The gold bow charm and heart zippers are an added touch of elegance and tasteful AP branding.
In this photo, you can clearly see the even stitching and the incredible stuffed quilted pattern that encompasses the entire bag. All of the glass pearl beads are securely strung to prevent being lost.
The lining fabric on the inside of the bag and back pocket is charming! Angelic Pretty's name is written inside of the love-struck heart logo. The fabric also features black polka dots for a sweet look!
There was a generous amount of tissue paper inside to help the purse to maintain its shaping during shipment. This bag is surprisingly roomy! I easily can fit my long wallet, my makeup bag, my phone, and other lolita accessories and essentials inside. Since the purse was so roomy, it was easy to see why the staff had put my other ordered items were tucked in safely within the inside of the bag.

This bag is absolutely flawless. Not only is it made high-quality materials and extremely roomy for any of my needs, but the purse has also been expertly stitched and constructed down to each detail. Every aspect of the bag's design is charming! I could not be more impressed with this purse.
Dolly Pearl Headbow
The Dolly Pearl Headbow was the reason that I made my initial online purchase. I was completely captivated by the bow's constructed satin, tulle lace, and glass pearl beads. The soft pink satin and pink glass pearls of this headbow compliment the bag that I had included in the purchase perfectly!
The satin that the ribbon is constructed of is incredibly soft! The material was additionally sturdy, so it should maintain it shapes even after being worn. The tulle lace is not soft to the touch, but the details are incredibly charming! The lace features light polka dots as well as half circles of lace.
The bowknot is secure to keep the piece centered. The edges of the bow that are attached to the headband are very sturdy! All of the stitching for the headbow is event and precise. Not a stitch is out of place! The pink pearl accent beads have been attached in such a great manner that I do not fear that they will come. Once again, I am completely captivated by the quality of an AP piece!

I cannot get over how precious this bow is! I am extremely impressed with the materials Angelic Pretty chose for this piece as well as the construction. This headbow is a fantastic accessory addition.
Creamy Doughnuts Bracelet
And now for my Cream Doughnut pieces! When I saw that there were two accessory pieces from my dream dress release in stock, I just had to get them. Truthfully, I was torn between the brown bracelet and the pink, but in the end, I chose the brown. I am so glad that I did. The brown bracelet is a nice complimentary piece for my Melty Cream Doughnut Jumperskirt in the pink colorway.
The doughnut charm is acrylic and very sturdy. I love the fact that the frosting and sprinkles are on a completely different layer than the base. This allows the glitz of the rhinestones and the sweet painted hearts to stand out. The rhinestones are incredibly brilliant and catch the light beautifully. The gold charm adds to that. The beads are standard plastic, but I do love the frosted effect on the beads.

This bracelet is extremely charming! I am very impressed with the aspects that create this overall piece from the sweet design. That being said, I do not feel that this piece was worth the asking price of $32.00. This is mainly based on the inexpensive multicolored beads. The other aspects are nice.
Creamy Doughnuts Ring
My Cream Doughnut Ring is just as lovely as the bracelet. Since AP had this piece in brown as well, I added it to my order. The rhinestones are incredibly brilliant and well affixed to the acrylic base and the acrylic layers really help create an adorable and tasty looking accessory! I was additionally impressed with the adjustable ring and it truly can accommodate a wide range of sizes. Also, the ring glue pad is extremely sturdy. There is no chance that the charm will come apart any time soon!

Just like the bracelet, the Cream Doughnut Ring is extremely charming! I am very impressed with the aspects that create this overall piece, from the sweet design to the sparkling additions. Unlike the bracelet, however, the ring is constructed of high-quality materials and is well worth the price!

The shipping for this order was domestic and arrived swiftly! This was especially surprising since New England has had more than a foot of snow. My order was expertly packaged and I even received a highly desired Angelic Pretty bag as I requested! I cannot wait to display it in my home.

I was very happy to see that my order invoice contained a personalized message from the staff.
