My 2017 Lolita New Year Resolutions

Wow, what an absolutely fantastic year! I can scarcely believe that the end of the year is upon us already. So much has happened over the course of twelve months! The upcoming year brings numerous promise and new opportunities. It truly is nice to see how far you have come or accomplished in the year.

As the year 2016 comes to a close, it's now the perfect time for a thorough review of the year of my lolita fashion journey and share my goals for 2017!

What I wanted to achieve in 2016:

Wardrobe Expansion

Included: a lolita winter coat, a pair of lolita winter boots an additional blouse, an additional bag  a brand Jumperskirt

In addition to these specific goals, I promised to stick to my main wardrobe colors. While I did purchase many lolita items, an additional lolita bag and purchase my first brand name JSK with an adorable print, I did not purchase a lolita winter coat, boots, or an additional lolita styled bag. I was a bit too optimistic. While I did expand my wardrobe, overall, this goal was primarily unsuccessful.

Sew Lolita Projects

Included: 3 Lolita themed projects for myself and 3 Lolita themed projects for my doll Hitomi

This goal was 100% unsuccessful. I did not create any pieces for myself or Hitomi by sewing. I did create a few pieces, such as jewelry for myself, but none of my finished projects required sewing.

Stay Regular

Included: Create and post a Lolita blog post a week

This goal was 100% Successful. I created and posted virtually every week and, on a Friday, wow! The goal I believed would be the one I would fail to complete is the one I completely blew out of the water. I am so proud. Not only did I maintain my blog, but I was able to expand my business as well!

My 2017 Goals

Wardrobe Expansion

Includes:
a Lolita winter coat
a pair of Lolita winter boots
an additional blouse
an additional bag
a new Jumperskirt
maintain my weekly personal training sessions

I promised to stick to my main wardrobe colors. While I did purchase many lolita items, an additional lolita bag and purchase my first brand name JSK with an adorable print, I did not purchase a lolita winter coat, boots or another lolita styled bag. I was a bit too optimistic when I created these parameters originally in 2016. While I did expand my wardrobe, overall, this goal was unsuccessful.

My Lolita Fashion Blog

Since I did such a fantastic job in 2016 with this blog, it is only fitting that I continue my streak. I hope you are excited about do-it-yourself projects, product reviews, hauls and other lolita topic goodies!

Keep A Fallen Star™

Includes:
the Keep A Fallen Star™ website
handmade products for Keep A Fallen Star™
apply to a local convention's artist alley

Keep A Fallen Star™ is my little hobby business. It was created years ago, but after college, I was unable to keep up with the business in addition to work. Now I am happy to announce that I am able to pursue this lolita focused business once again! I offer handmade items I create and assemble myself for my own will now offer these items for other fashion loves as well! Not only will I create pieces for other people, but I will also create items for ball-jointed or similar fashion dolls as well.

I hope you had a fantastic 2016 as well! What are your new year resolutions? I would love to hear your goals!

Stay Frilly~
