Review: Angelic Pretty USA Melty Cream Doughnut Jumperskirt!
Once upon a time...
There was a princess who adored the Angelic Pretty series Melty Cream Doughnuts very much. While she did own imitation of her favorite dress, the young woman dreamed of the moment she would finally have in her possession her own authentic piece. On the day of her birth, the princess happened to find herself on her favorite online store. The website storefront looked the same as the day before. Only a 6-year anniversary event and the recent release of Chocolate Rosette rotating throughout the newsreel. A simple decision to visit the main online shop page gave way to extraordinary discovery. The princess could not believe her eyes as she read the glorious words. "Melty Cream Doughnuts", which sat casually above the other current series. In order to willingly cooperate with destiny, the princess eagerly added the dress and selected Go to Checkout.

Once the banner became active, I quickly clicked through to see the active items in that particular series. The color decision was exceedingly easy this time around! During the original release, I had a fondness of the pink and the brown jumperskirt colorway variation. Since there was no re-release of the brown colorway, I quickly added the available pink jumperskirt dress to my cart and checked out.
To say I was surprised at the shipping cost from the US store would be an understatement. My jumperskirt came to a grand total of $260, and added $20 an additional in shipping -- yikes! Thankfully I had some savings, an advancement and birthday funds set aside for this particular dress.
Due to the timing, I was able to purchase my dream dress brand new directly from Angelic Pretty, rather than needing to purchase it used from LaceMarket at an inflated price. It arrived in 4 days total!
My order from Angelic Pretty arrived in a large USPS Priority Mail box. The box was completely encased in plastic to protect the box and the garment inside. My dress was wrapped in a clear sealed plastic bag as an added measure of protection against water or any other form of unwanted damage.
I was disappointed that I did not receive a much desired Angelic Pretty brand bag. On the bright side, the clear bag intended for protection did allow me to behold the splendor of my purchased piece!
Since the dress was completely brand new, it came complete with all the original price tag and care instructions. The chiffon material is extremely soft to the touch and the print is bold and defined. The details in this dress are to die for! I love each tiny artistic detail, from the soft vanilla words of melty cream doughnuts and Angelic Pretty to the decorated chocolate covered pastries.
This print features doughnuts with frosting and sprinkles, golden curlers with frosting drizzles, pink lace, frosted heart dollops, vanilla words, eat me signs and golden cutlery, ribbons, brand banners, medallions and chocolate and strawberry covered pretzels. The chiffon material the dress is made of has a shimmer effect, which gives the piece a magical impression. There is truly no other dress alive that is better suited to be present in my wardrobe! The pink coloration of the dress is much more pronounced than the Angelic Pretty stock photos suggest, which is an added bonus!

In these detailed shots, you can see the beautiful collection of pieces that make up such a stunning print! The bow especially shows the lovely soft and shimmery chiffon the dress is made from. Each decadent dessert and purposeful drizzle depicted adds an additional charm and sweetness.
The lace details are positively charming. Not only does the lace feature polka dots, but frosted doughnuts and the initials AP for Angelic Pretty. The lace is soft but sturdy to ensure it will maintain it's shaped. Angelic Pretty's name is present from the top to the very bottom of the piece.

The shipping for this order was domestic and incredibly quick! I received my items in four days. The items had been properly prepared for shipment and everything arrived safely and accurately. My only disappointment is that I was not wowed with the presentation. This was my first purchase from Angelic Pretty and, despite the fact I ordered a dress, I did not receive a brand plastic bag or additional presentation pieces. When I ordered from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, my items were wrapped carefully and placed among pink tissue paper. Not only that, but I received a branded bag. I must confess that Baby wins this round.

This dress is of an excellent quality. This particular piece is well constructed, soft and extremely well-tailored. I am absolutely blown away by the quality, the stunning details, and the glorious print upon this dress. This jumperskirt release is, most definitely, worth every penny of the asking price!

When I placed my order, I was unable to update the billing address information. Thankfully, the Angelic Pretty staff were quick to answer my email. They remedied this before my order was sent.
Final Thoughts
Would I purchase from Angelic Pretty USA again? Absolutely! I am extremely happy with my jumperskirt from Angelic Pretty and hope to have future products from this brand soon!
