Review: Tops by Chocolate Bunny Store, Kawaii Fashion
Tops are a lolita fashion essential! I am always on the lookout for cute blouses and cutsews for my lolita and kawaii fashion wardrobe. After seeing Chocolate Bunny Store tagged by some of my favorite plus-size Lolitas, I was excited to try the brand's products for myself! I'll share my opinions of the Christie Cutsew and the Old School Blouse in this video and blog post. Let's get started!

I love indie brands and love to support them when I can! Not only did Chocolate Bunny Store offer many cute kawaii fashion essentials in their shop, but the pieces are offered in a set size or a personalized option! The shop believes everyone has the right to be cute and is size inclusive.
Additionally, the items are affordable. I purchased a size 46 for all my tops. I originally bought the cutsews, but I added the blouse to my order later on.

These cutsews are so cute and vibrant! The tops have so many cute ruffles on the collar, sleeves, and bottom. The fabric is a lovely soft and lightweight cotton, which makes it perfect to wear alone or layered! While the satin bow isn't removable, it's an adorable addition and the perfect balance!
One of my favorite things about these pieces is the sleeve size and stretch! I find that most tops I own have elastic that stretches but is uncomfortable after a while. As a plus-size Lolita, I can honestly say that isn't the case here! The elastic used on the sleeves are very comfortable.
I can move freely in this piece, and everything still stays in place! I often tuck my tops in as a personal preference, but this cutsew is so comfortable and flattering I like wearing it without tucking it as well!

The design of this cutsew is beyond adorable! The material is very soft and comfortable. I love how vibrant the items are. Every detail is flawless, and the pieces are well constructed. Each item offers a great range of sizes and personal sizing if needed. At $38 apiece, the cutsews are very affordable!
Old School Blouse
This blouse was too perfect not to order! I love the tall collar and lace details. This piece is simple enough for a casual coordinate while being elegant for old-school and classic coordinates.
While the cotton is thinner and requires a light bra, it is soft and durable. Just like the cutsews, the blouse is very comfortable to wear. The buttons are pretty pearls and fasten easily. The blouse fits so well that I don't need to worry about a gap around the buttons which is a huge relief!
Once again, the sleeves are very comfortable! The store gives you the option to have removable sleeves. Since this was my first order, I didn't select that option, but I will in the future! I can't stress enough how important comfy essentials are. There is even partial shirring in the back, too!
I am very impressed with the quality of this piece. The fabric is breathable and comfortable. The construction of the garment is excellent and I expect I can wear it daily without any issues!
The design ratio is lovely! I can see how it would be flattering on a range of sizes. Since the blouse comes in six different colorways, I can admit that I plan to order additional colors in the future!

I cannot get over how beautiful this blouse is! I've owned similar pieces by Japanese brands but they weren't even close to the affordable $48 price. My only complaint with this blouse is a minor, and temporary, aspect. There are still pink chalk marks from the tailor. A quick wash should fix this.

The communication with this brand was wonderful! I added an item to my order after the fact and it wasn't an issue at all. The items arrived in a secure plastic envelope safely from Mexico to the USA. The website states that ordered items will take 3-5 weeks to create. My items took a bit longer, but I did add another item later on. The pieces were well worth the wait <3

The quality of each article is fantastic! I love the overall designs, the quality of the cotton and lace, and the high-quality construction. Each top is comfortable and flattering. I will wear these daily pieces often!
